The store is dead. Long live physical Retail

The pandemic has shown many retailers and brands how vulnerable their business and operating models are putting their bets (still) on physical outlets. 80%+ of income streams coming from the physical store is not uncommon across the industry.

The last two years have painfully shown the limits of this business model and many decision-makers questioned how or even if at all physical stores might return. For us we see the store returning as a central hub with four key roles: Experience & Discovery, Fulfillment, Service and Community.
